Skip is the co-founder of Philly Marketing Labs, a digital marketing agency that partners with growing, mid-sized businesses to provide visibility to profitability using goal-driven dashboards. Skip and his team employ the latest digital marketing tactics to help companies adapt, engage and thrive. In addition to partnering with PML clients, Skip leads the methodology and conversion optimization efforts at Philly Marketing Labs.
Skip has a passion for building new generation companies and guiding others who seek to do the same. In the mid-90′s he founded Destiny, an eCommerce software company that created one of the world’s first online banking systems for Bank of America. He has provided Web marketing and strategic guidance to brands like Comcast Corporation, The Vanguard Group and Mellon Financial.
Skip serves on the advisory board of a number of start-ups and teaches entrepreneurship at the Wharton Small Business Development Center. His volunteer work includes donating time to Transition Town Media, DMAX Foundation and The Main Line Digital Marketing Meetup.
Skip has certificate level training in Integral Theory (study of human perspectives), Holacracy (system of agile governance), Role-based Assessment (team building typology), SEO, Landing Page Optimization, Conversion Optimization and Web Analytics. He has a black belt in Aikido and lives with his family in suburban Philadelphia.
Ratha helps The People Skills Group by providing guidance with our strategic vision and the implementation of processes and procedures to get us there.
Ratha Nithiahnanthan is the Founder of Penang Inspirations Baked Goods, a small business that produces and sells Asian inspired baked goods which she distributes through Farmers Markets in the Annapolis and Baltimore suburbs.
Ratha has seen the world of business through corporations, law firms, volunteer organizations and farmers markets. In a former life, Ratha worked for Bowne JFS, a software company in the legal industry, where she oversaw software implementations in law firms and corporations internationally. Ratha took her keen technical knowledge to Morgan Lewis, a large global law firm, as a consultant and project manager to the internal business units, where she analyzed and designed software solutions for diverse business needs.
Ratha has an MBA from Temple University’s Fox School of Business, and a double major in Economics, and Business Administration /Management Information Systems, from the College of Saint Elizabeth. Ratha has served as the President the Rockingham County Medical Alliance, VA, a social and philanthropic organization dedicated to health in the community.
Today, good fortune and a supportive spouse allow Ratha to cultivate her entrepreneurial spirit to fulfill a personal bucket-list item to start and grow a successful business.
Ratha grew up on the island of Penang, Malaysia, and came to the US at the age of 19 on a college scholarship. She takes delight in new experiences and great ideas. Favorite quote – aim for the stars because at the very least you will hit a coconut!
